Travel to Balatonalmádi from/to Budapest Airport
(Liszt Ferenc Airport)

Due to limited interest in organised transfers we are not able to offer competitive prices from the airport to Hotel BAL Resort Balatonalmadi (venue hotel). Hence, this service has been disabled in the registration system. Participants who have paid for the service will get full refind.

( the exact price will be indicated on the taxi meter in the cab)

NOTE: maximum 3 persons can be seated in one taxi and colleagues may share the cost, but please consider the luggage you bring, too.

Public transportation and train

Take the Airport Express bus No. 100E to Deák Square (city center). Duration appr. 40-45 min. More information here:

Departs from the entrance of the airport.
Frequency: 7-10 min on Saturday and Sunday.
Special airport shuttle single ticket: 2200 HUF (appr. 5,5 €)

From Deák Square please change to Metro (M2), red line till the last station: Déli pályaudvar (Southern railway station). Metro single ticket price: 450 HUF (appr. 1,5 €)

From the railway station to Balatonalmádi:
Duration: 1,5 hr with InterCity train. (Frequency: every 2 hrs, e.g. 11:05, 13:05 etc.)
Price with seat reservation 2400 HUF (appr. 6 €) / 1 way
We recommend to choose an InterCity (R) train, so you will have seat reservation as well.

Total price from the airport to the venue appr: 5000 HUF (13 €)
